ROUNDUP: Strong opening game lifts Tech boys past Basic

Tech's four bowlers each rolled at least a 206 in the first game as the Roadrunners defeated Basic, 5-4 in a boys match at Wildfire Lanes on Wednesday.
Cory Keraly rolled a 246 in the opener. Brandon Owen added a 225 on his way to a 632 series. Travis Canfield rolled a 212, and Andrew Kellogg added a 206 as Tech won the opening game and had the high series total.
James Redmond led Basic, rolling games of 235 and 233 in a 672 series.
GIRLS
Basic 9, Tech 0 — At Wildfire Lanes, Shaunna Padderatz rolled a 546 series as Basic's girls blanked Tech.
Amanda Hix's 199 was Basic's high game.
Shannon Miller led the Roadrunners, rolling a 248 game in her 549 series.
