2017 Shadow Ridge Boys Cross Country Capsule

SHADOW RIDGE

League: Class 4A Northwest

Head coach: Andy Flynn, fifth season

Returning lettermen: Eight

Top athletes: Dane Cobb (Jr.), Antonio Martinez (Sr.), Tyler Robison (Sr.), Jordan Gray (Sr.)

Outlook: Cobb (37th place), Gray (41st) and Martinez (48th) all finished in the top 50 in last year’s Class 4A Sunset Region meet.

They’re among eight returning lettermen for the Mustangs.

“The boys team is deep and full of new and returning talent,” Flynn said. “Seniors Tyler Robison and Jordan Gray are looking for banner years, and junior Dane Cobb will be a name most coaches will recognize by the end of the year.

“They are backed up by new and returning faces eager to add another year of rich tradition and victory to Shadow Ridge cross country.”
