Outlook: Aguilar-Espinoza was the runner-up in the 2016 Sunrise Region meet. In all, the Skyhawks bring back five of their seven runners from last year’s region meet.
“SIlverado will be looking to improve on a seventh-place finish (in the region),” Whitaker said. “The Skyhawks will have a veteran group with a team goal of qualifying for the state meet.”
