Returning lettermen: Five

Top athletes: Noah Ayala (Sr.), Mario Gutierrez (Jr.), John Crabtree-Medrano (Jr.), Matt Myers (Jr.)

Outlook: Last year’s Sunset Region champions and Class 4A state runners-up return five lettermen, including Ayala, who placed sixth in the state meet.

The team will have to overcome the loss of Sunset Region champion Keith Williams to graduation, but still could be in the hunt for a berth in the state meet.
