Eskin vaults Green Valley girls past Wildcats

Lindy Eskin won a 3.04-mile race in 20 minutes, 14 seconds on Wednesday to help Green Valley’s girls cross country team to a 15-50 win at Las Vegas High.

The Gators swept the top seven spots, with Stacie Hall placing second in 20:20, and Jayda Knemeyer taking third in 20:27.

Gator boys top Wildcats
At Las Vegas, Green Valley took nine of the top 10 spots on its way to a 20-43 win over the Wildcats.

Las Vegas’ Hector Ortega-Torres won the 3.04-mile race in 16:30, one second ahead of Green Valley’s Carlton Herbert. The Gators’ Michael Patrino was third in 16:59.
