ROUNDUP: Hartle, Centennial boys run to win in four-team meet

Nick Hartle won a 2.47-mile race in 12 minutes, 56 seconds Wednesday to lead host Centennial’s boys cross country team to victory in a four-team meet.
The host Bulldogs scored 23 points, topping Moapa Valley (41), Legacy (89) and Mojave (109).
Centennial had 12 of the top 14 individuals, though Moapa Valley’s Josh Thompson was second (13:37) and Chase Witter third (13:41).

Bonanza wins home meet
At Bonanza, the Bengals took the top two spots to win a three-team meet with 23 points.

Sierra Vista (34) was second and Pahrump Valley (62) third.
Bonanza’s Jack De La Mare won the 2.8-mile race in 16:05. Teammate Gavin Kakal was second in 16:07.

Las Vegas tops Canyon Springs
At Canyon Springs, Las Vegas High’s Andrew Childress placed first, and Canyon Springs was unable to field a complete team.

Childress won the 2.75-mile race in 16:37 for the Wildcats, who had 19 points.
Canyon Springs’ John Sneed (16:47) was second.
