ROUNDUP: Bonanza girls take top two spots, win four-team meet

Bonanza’s Emily Adams won on a 2.5-mile course in 17 minutes, 49 seconds to lead the Bengals to victory in a four-team meet at Sierra Vista on Wednesday.
Bonanza’s Stephanie Williams was second in 17:52, and Sierra Vista’s Xin Gan took third in 17:56.
Bonanza won with 24 points, followed by Sierra Vista (35), Western (74) and The Meadows (94).

Chargers take four of top six, win meet
At Desert Breeze, Clark placed four runners in the top six, led by winner Julianna Thornock, to win a four-team meet with 24 points.

Thornock won the 2.5-mile race in 17:29, one second ahead of Gorman’s Taylor Stueve.
Durango was second with 57, followed by Bishop Gorman (60) and Adelson (111).

Shadow Ridge uses depth to edge Centennial
At Centennial, Shadow Ridge had six of the top nine finishers on its way to victory in a three-team meet.

The Mustangs edged Centennial, 27-31.
The Bulldogs’ Sydney Badger won on the 2.47-mile course in 15:55, followed by Shadow Ridge’s Mallory Reese in 16:48 and Centennial’s Savanna Anas in 16:58.

Puente leads Spring Valley to victory
At Desert Oasis, Dannica Puente won on a 3.1-mile course in 20:59 to help Spring Valley win a three-team meet.

Desert Oasis’ Bianca Vasilica took second in 21:42, and Spring Valley’s Valerie Armstrong was third in 22:26.
Spring Valley won with 25 points, followed by Desert Oasis (40) and Pahrump Valley (79).
 
Gators cruise to win
At Arroyo Grande Park, Alyssa Rapovy won a 3.1-mile race in 20:06 as Green Valley took six of the top seven spots and breezed to victory.
 
The Gators had a team score of 15. Las Vegas was second with 57, followed by Del Sol with 92 and Desert Pines with 95.
 
Maddie Dillon of Australia Select was second in 20:35. Green Valley's Lindy Eskin took third in 20:57.
 
Chaparral runs past Sunrise Mountain
At Sunrise Mountain, Andrea Bouschet won a 3.1-mile race in 22:11 and was the first of six Chaparral runners to place in the top eight as the Cowboys downed Sunrise Mountain, 15-49.
 
Canyon Springs' Minniya Wilson was second in 22:37, finishing one second ahead of Chaparral's Peyton Hunton. Canyon Springs had only three finishers and didn't score as a team.
