ROUNDUP: Centennial girls breeze to win

Centennial runners took the top seven spots Tuesday as the Bulldogs breezed to win a three-team meet at The Meadows.

Brittany Williams led the Centennial parade across the finish line, winning the 2.6-mile race 18 minutes, 4 seconds.

The Bulldogs had a team score of 15. Bishop Gorman was second with 52, followed by Foothill with 73.

Carrell leads Arbor View to win
At Arroyo Grande Park, Katie Carrell won the 3.1-mile race in a time of 20:28 to help Arbor View capture a four-team meet.

The Aggies had a team score of 22. Green Valley took second with 50, followed by Liberty (59) and Cimarron- Memorial (103).

Arbor View’s Kourtney Willey took second in 21:24.

Coronado takes seven of top eight in victory
At Sonata Park, Coronado took seven of the top eight places to win the four-team meet with 19 points. Faith Lutheran (60) was second, followed by Durango (61) and Desert Pines (106).

Coronado’s Michaelanne Laurent won the 2.8-mile race in 18:08. Faith Lutheran’s Keely Bakken (19:14) was second and Coronado’s Lauren Lucas (19:53) third.
