Virgin Valley girls win three-team meet

Virgin Valley’s girls cross country team took two of the top four spots to win a three-team meet on Wednesday at Moapa Valley High in Overton.

Viviana Archuleta-Vega finished third in 15 minutes, 28 seconds, and Julia Ramirez was fourth in 15:40 to lead the Bulldogs, who won the meet with 38 points.

Legacy was second with 41, and Moapa Valley had 43.

Imee Rose Dichoso of Legacy won the 2.1-mile race in 14:45, with teammate Alanna Gilbert finishing second in 14:51.

Moapa Valley’s Andrea Morgen was fifth in 16:02.
