Top players: Aujaneh Jackson (Sr.), Avi’Ana Shelton (Sr.), Tavia Wells (Sr.), Nicole White (Jr.)

Outlook: The Longhorns bring back 10 letter winners from a team that advanced to the second round of the Clark County School District playoffs.

“With only five starters back, we are going to need some younger talent to step up to the plate this year to be successful,” Nelson said. “We have been placed in a new division this year, and we are excited to experience different schools.

“We are ready for the challenge.”
