Returning letter winners (starters): Thirteen (five)

Top players: WR/LB Christina Mayberry (Jr.), LB Tiara Jimmison (Sr.), WR Olivia McClain (So.), DB Steffany Yang (Sr.)

Outlook: The Gators return 13 letter winners, but only five starters from a team that won the Southeast League last year.

“We look to compete and improve every game this season in a very tough division,” Torrez said. “We will have to rely on many new faces in key spots to help us be successful. What this season’s team lacks in experience, we hope will be made up with athleticism.

“The ladies have had a great intramurals and are really excited to get the season started.”
