FLAG FOOTBALL: Hines scores four, leads Jaguars over Sundevils

Raynette Hines rushed for four touchdowns Tuesday to help Desert Pines’ flag football team to a 24-14 win at Eldorado.

Eldorado’s Angela Stoneback hauled in a 60-yard TD pass from Keelyn Pacheco in the second half.

Foothill 26, Silverado 12 — At Foothill, Sam Fennell threw for 341 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Falcons by the Skyhawks.

Fennell, who completed 21 of 36 passes, hit RaeAnn Brems on TD passes of 10 and 35 yards. She also tossed a 9-yard TD pass to Marissa Brackett and a 13-yard scoring pass to Emily Russell.

Brackett caught eight passes for 104 yards, and Brems hauled in four passes for 78 yards for Foothill. Sayonna Thunstrom caught four passes for 74 yards for the Falcons.

Taeondra Johnson had four sacks, and Rachel Rodriguez intercepted two passes for Foothill.

Green Valley 20, Basic 12 — At Basic, Morgan Gibson tossed three first-half touchdown passes, and the Gators held off the Wolves.

Jinger Meuir, Tamara Grieves and Carolina Velazquez each caught a touchdown pass for Green Valley.

Nikki Mullins and Destinie Flores each had a rushing touchdown for Basic.

Valley 27, Tech 6 — At Green Valley, DaNiece Dixon ran for two scores, and the Vikings defeated the Roadrunners.

Ivanya Garcia and Ajanique Reece also had TD runs for Valley.

Austyn Dziewit caught a touchdown pass from Kimmie Rodriguez for Tech’s lone score. Dziewit also had three interceptions.

Canyon Springs 6, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, the Pioneers scored a first-half touchdown on a tipped pass and held on to top the Cowboys.

Rancho 21, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, the Rams blanked the Dragons.
