FLAG FOOTBALL: Hodson, Diamondbacks top Basic

Izriah Hodson rushed for 67 yards and a touchdowns on 14 carries Wednesday to lead Desert Oasis' flag football team to a 13-6 win at Basic.

Hodson scored on a 2-yard TD run in the second half for the Diamondbacks, who led 6-0 at halftime.

Kylee Bauer completed 8 of 15 passes for 87 yards including a 5-yard TD strike to Lisia Wolfgram for Desert Oasis.

Arbor View 15, Rancho 8 — At Arbor View, Melanie Ara rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns, including a 2-yard score in the second overtime, to lift the Aggies over the Rams.

Brooke Rauh had 10 tackles for Arbor View.

Las Vegas 25, Coronado 13 — At Las Vegas, Sabrina Saldate ran for a touchdown and was 6-for-12 passing for 161 yards and two TDs to help the Wildcats down the Cougars.

Natalie Gennuso caught both touchdown passes, and Taylor Stonebarger supplied 133 yards rushing and a touchdown for Las Vegas, which also got 16 tackles from Lexia Brockett.

Centennial 39, Silverado 6 — At Silverado, Aliyah Wyrick ran for two touchdowns and caught a TD pass to help the Bulldogs top the Skyhawks.

Wyrick rushed for 77 yards on 11 carries and had two 5-yard scores. She also hauled in a 10-yard TD pass from Halli Erickson.

Erickson completed 4 of 10 passes for 27 yards and three touchdowns, hitting Isabel Barilla and Ashley Marshall on scoring passes for Centennial, which also got a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown by Kayla Kipp-Nobles.

Foothill 46, Cimarron-Memorial 26 — At Cimarron, Jadyn McArthur ran for three touchdowns and tossed four TD passes to Emily Russell as the Falcons topped the Spartans.

McArthur completed 15 of 20 passes for 165 yards and rushed for 87 yards on seven carries.

Russell caught 11 passes for 137 yards for Foothill.

Valley 51, Eldorado 26 — At Valley, Esmerelda Tenorio rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Vikings by the Sundevils.

Kayla Steiner added two touchdowns, and Bailey Wieslander ran for a score for Valley, which pulled away after leading 26-13 at the half.

Green Valley 47, Bonanza 0 — At Green Valley, Bella Cipili threw six touchdown passes as the Gators blanked the Bengals.

Cipili completed 13 of 19 passes for 220 yards, and Carolina Velasquez caught four passes for 100 yards and three touchdowns for Green Valley, which also got TD catches from Carli Perkins, Daisy Ochoa and Hennessy Elkins.

Aniyah Pinaula rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, and Sara Braverman rushed for 97 yards on 11 carries for the Gators.
