FLAG FOOTBALL: Keyer sparks second-half run as Cougars rally past the Patriots

Kylie Keyer rushed for two second-half touchdowns Wednesday to lead Coronado’s flag football team to a 19-12 home win over Liberty.
Keyer finished with 211 rushing yards and three scores for Coronado, which trailed 12-6 at the half.
Claire Mauriello had eight tackles and McKayla Carter seven to lead the Cougars on defense.
Boulder City 20, Basic 13 — At Basic, Jeanne Carmell ran for a score and threw a touchdown pass as the Eagles topped the Wolves.
Carmell completed 17 of 26 passes for 192 yards, including a 5-yard TD pass to Cameron Kanaley, and scored on a 10-yard run. Kinsey Smyth returned an interception 30 yards for Boulder City's first score.
Nicole Dirilo and Nicole Mullins each supplied a rushing TD for Basic.
Clark 21, Mojave 6 — At Clark, Darian Gambetta caught a touchdown pass and returned an interception for a score to lead the Chargers by the Rattlers.
Stephanie Chavez added a touchdown run for the Chargers.
Kiara Tench ran for Mojave’s touchdown.
Western 14, Bonanza 7 — At Bonanza, the Warriors held off the Bengals.
Anu Chock had a 5-yard touchdown run for Bonanza.
Foothill 41, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Korina Bush caught three touchdown passes and ran for another score as the Falcons routed the Dragons.
Bush caught six passes for 101 yards and rushed for 29 yards on five carries.
Heidi Koehler caught two TD passes for the Falcons.
Sam Fennell was 19 of 31 passing for 249 yards and three touchdowns, and Jadyn McArthur and Emily Russell each tossed a touchdown pass for Foothill.
Legacy 46, Cimarron-Memorial 26 — At Cimarron, Shardell Purdy threw four touchdown passes as the Longhorns topped the Spartans.
Purdy completed 12 of 15 passes for 212 yards. Klarisah Harris had six receptions for 163 yards and three touchdowns, and Avi’Ana Shelton rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries for Legacy.
Jaymee Luke rushed for 215 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries and threw three touchdown passes for Cimarron.
Rosie Del Rosario, DeShan Cambrit and Logan DeLong each caught a touchdown pass for the Spartans.
Tech 21, Chaparral 12 — At Chaparral, the Roadrunners downed the Cowboys.
Neshaune’ Franklin had a 40-yard touchdown run for Chaparral.
