FLAG FOOTBALL: Luke has hand in six touchdowns as Spartans down Diamondbacks

Jaymee Luke threw five touchdown passes and ran for a score Friday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s flag football team to a 38-21 win at Desert Oasis.

Luke, who rushed for 180 yards on 16 carries, completed 14 of 19 passes for 190 yards.

Logan DeLong caught eight passes for 92 yards and three touchdowns, and DeShan Cambrit and Rosie Del Rosario each caught a TD pass for the Spartans.

Kylee Bauer completed 22 of 47 passes for 361 yards and two touchdowns for the Diamondbacks.

Kayla Saucedo caught five passes for 117 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing touchdown for Desert Oasis, and teammate Briona Viloria caught seven passes for 102 yards and a touchdown.

Centennial 35, Legacy 12 — At Legacy, Ashley Marshall ran for two touchdowns as the Bulldogs pulled away from the Longhorns.

Marshall rushed for 41 yards on five carries.

Zshalyn Canfield completed 13 of 21 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns for Centennial. Tiana Bonds caught six passes for 77 yards and a score and returned an interception for a touchdown, and teammate Taylor Reeves hauled in seven passes for 81 yards and a touchdown for the Bulldogs.

Eldorado 12, Del Sol 6 — At Eldorado, Sophia Johnson’s 46-yard touchdown reception with 50 seconds remaining sealed the Sundevils’ comeback victory over the Dragons.

Johnson finished with 83 yards on three receptions for Eldorado, which trailed 6-0 at halftime. Teammate Shelby Johnson rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.

Boulder City 51, Chaparral 7 — At Boulder City, Jeanne Carmell ran for three touchdowns and threw three TD passes as the Eagles blitzed the Cowboys.

Carmell rushed for 167 yards on nine carries and completed 14 of 24 passes for 238 yards.

Jane Nevarez caught two TD passes, and Cameron Kanaley hauled in another for Boulder City, which also got an interception return for a score by Kinsey Smyth.
