FLAG FOOTBALL: Luke, Spartans eliminate previously unbeaten Arbor View

Jaymee Luke rushed for 238 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 171 yards and a touchdown Thursday to help Cimarron-Memorial’s flag football team to a 25-18 win over host Arbor View in a Sunset Region semifinal.
Luke scored on a 6-yard run with 2 minutes to go to put the Spartans up 25-18, and then her interception on the ensuing Arbor View possession sealed the victory.
Jessie Sanchez-Griswold had two catches for 14 yards and a TD for the Spartans (17-3), who will meet Centennial (17-3) in the region final at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Arbor View.
Taylor Howie threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns for Arbor View (19-1), which got 125 yards receiving and a TD from Haley Nibarger.
Kayla Stephens added 46 yards receiving and a score for the Aggies.
Centennial 19, Legacy 13 — At Centennial, Whitley Beattie had 24 carries for 118 yards and a score as the Bulldogs outlasted the Longhorns (15-7).
Zshalyn Canfield had 25 yards rushing and two TDs for Centennial.
Bryanna Thompson had 10 tackles for Centennial.
Green Valley 28, Silverado 19 — At Silverado, Morgan Gibson threw two touchdown passes to Tamera Grieves and added a rushing TD to lift the Gators over the Skyhawks (15-5) in a Sunrise Region semifinal.
Gibson completed 15 of 18 passes for 207 yards, and Grieves finished with nine catches for 156 yards for Green Valley (16-4), which will face Boulder City (20-0) in the region final at 5 p.m. Monday at Arbor View.
Kayla Anderson had 12 carries for 92 yards and a TD for the Gators.
