FLAG FOOTBALL: McArthur, Falcons rout Sundevils

Jadyn McArthur passed for 313 yards and five touchdowns to lead Foothill's flag football team to a 41-14 win over visiting Eldorado on Tuesday.

McArthur completed 25 of 41 passes. She also rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown.

Sydney Babakitis caught five passes for 77 yards and two TDs for the Falcons. Sayonna Thunstrom, Emily Russell and Marissa Spatafore each added a touchdown reception for Foothill.

Alexis Farias intercepted two passes for the Falcons.

Desert Oasis 13, Cimarron-Memorial 12 — At Desert Oasis, Kylee Bauer threw two touchdown passes as the Diamondbacks edged the Spartans.

Bauer had a 35-yard TD pass to Lisia Wolfgram in the first half and an 11-yard scoring pass to Leiana Macusi in the second half.

Izriah Hodson rushed for 115 yards on 17 carries for Desert Oasis.

Valley 46, Silverado 6 — At Valley, Esmerelda Tenorio rushed for 256 yards and three touchdowns to power the Vikings by the Skyhawks.

Kayla Steiner had 111 yards rushing and two TDs for Valley, which led 27-6 at halftime.

Baylee Wieslander ran for a score, and teammate Neida Gutierrez caught a TD pass for the Vikings.

Green Valley 27, Basic 6 — At Basic, Bella Cipili and Erin Zinke each threw two touchdown passes to lead the Gators over the Wolves.

Cipilli completed 5 of 8 passes for 80 yards, and Zinke was 6-for-15 for 133 yards.

Carolina Velasquez had four catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns, and Brooklynne Fewer and Bryana Johnson each added a TD catch for Green Valley.

Arbor View 29, Bonanza 13 — At Bonanza, the Aggies beat the Bengals.

Bonanza's Desiree Cruz rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown, and Shayne Dunn had a 10-yard scoring run for the Bengals.

Liberty 32, Canyon Springs 26 — At Canyon Springs, the Patriots edged the Pioneers in overtime.

Canyon Springs' Alyviah Brouchet had 19 carries for 167 yards and two touchdowns, and teammate Destini Cooper added five catches for 39 yards and a TD. Cooper also led the team with five tackles.

Las Vegas 50, Spring Valley 7 — At Spring Valley, the Wildcats rolled past the Grizzlies.

Spring Valley's Michaela Hood passed for 120 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 57 yards.
