FLAG FOOTBALL: Pacheco, Sundevils outlast Coronado

Keelyn Pacheco had a 4-yard TD run in the second overtime, and Angela Stoneback caught the conversion pass to lift Eldorado’s flag football team to a 41-40 home win over Coronado on Monday.

Pacheco finished with 118 rushing yards and four touchdowns. She also passed for 126 yards and a TD.

The Sundevils led 21-6 at the half, but Coronado rallied to tie the game at 28 to end regulation. Both teams scored in the first overtime.

Eldorado stopped the Cougars’ point-after attempt in the second overtime to get the win.

Kylie Keyer rushed for 166 yards and two TDs for Coronado. Teammate Ava Bracey had nine tackles and three sacks.

Western 6, Mojave 0 — At Western, Tamika King scored on a 2-yard run in the second overtime to lift the Warriors over the Rattlers.

Foothill 26, Basic 7 — At Foothill, Sam Fennell completed 32 of 46 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Falcons over the Wolves.

Emily Russell had 11 catches for 85 yards and two scores and threw a TD pass for Foothill, which led 14-7 at the half.

Rachel Rodriguez and Renee Ritchie also had TD catches for the Falcons.

Taeondra Johnson led the Foothill defense with seven tackles and four sacks, and teammate Jadyn McArthur added five tackles and two sacks.

Legacy 25, Bonanza 12 — At Legacy, Shardell Purdy rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another as the Longhorns beat the Bengals.

Avi’Ana Shelton added 145 rushing yards and one touchdown, and caught four passes for 55 yards and a score for Legacy.

Centennial 32, Desert Oasis 26 — At Desert Oasis, Zshalyn Canfield passed for three touchdowns as the Bulldogs held off the Diamondbacks.

Tiana Bonds rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown and caught a TD pass for Centennial. Bryanna Thompson had 12 tackles to lead the defense for the Bulldogs.

Desert Oasis’ Kylee Bauer passed for 357 yards and three TDs and added a rushing touchdown.

Kayla Saucedo added a receiving TD and 10 tackles for Desert Oasis.

Boulder City 41, Tech 0 — At Boulder City, Jeanne Carmell threw three TD passes and rushed for another score as the Eagles routed the Roadrunners.

Carmell completed 13 of 20 passes for 225 yards.

Liberty 33, Chaparral 0 — At Liberty, Tatiyana Kikwood had 13 tackles and rushed for 63 yards to lead the Patriots over the Cowboys.
