FLAG FOOTBALL: Saldate’s five TD passes help Wildcats rout Eldorado

Sabrina Saldate threw five touchdown passes Monday as Las Vegas' flag football team opened its season with a 41-0 win at Eldorado.

Saldate completed 17 of 22 passes for 246 yards. Natalie Gennuso had eight receptions for 145 yards and three touchdowns for the Wildcats.

Taylor Stonebarger rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries for Las Vegas.

Foothill 32, Valley 6 — At Foothill, Jadyn McArthur threw five TD passes, and the Falcons raced to an 18-0 halftime lead on their way to a victory over the Vikings.

McArthur completed 22 of 33 passes for 254 yards and rushed for 83 yards on 10 carries.

Sydney Babakitis caught five passes for 61 yards and three TDs, and Emily Russell had 10 receptions for 131 yards and a score for Foothill, which also got a touchdown catch from Marissa Spatafore.

Green Valley 26, Silverado 12 — At Green Valley, Bella Cipili threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns as the Gators rolled past the Skyhawks.

With the Gators leading 7-6 at the start of the third quarter, Cipili connected with Alyssa Herrera on a 60-yard TD pass to help Green Valley take control of the game.

Lissette Sigala caught three passes for 78 yards and two touchdows, and also scored on a 6-yard run for the Gators.

Centennial 26, Shadow Ridge 6 — At Centennial, Ashley Marshall ran for 102 yards and two touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass to help the Bulldogs defeat the Mustangs.

Halli Erickson completed 9 of 18 passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns for Centennial. Aliyah Wyrick caught two passes for 45 yards and a score for the Bulldogs.

Legacy 33, Cimarron-Memorial 20 — At Cimarron, Akia Williams rushed for 187 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and the Longhorns raced to a 26-0 halftime lead and held off the Spartans.

Qaylee Baker-Judie ran for 90 yards and a TD on nine carries, and Kaila Hackett and Brenden Miller each added a rushing TD for Legacy, which racked up 339 yards on the ground.

Rosie Del Rosario completed 15 of 28 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 72 yards and a score for Cimarron.

Alyssa Karpinski caught four passes for 66 yards and a score, and teammate Janelle Montejo caught four passes for 37 yards and a TD for the Spartans. Logan DeLong had eight receptions for 110 yards for Cimarron.

Bonanza 40, Durango 6 — At Bonanza, Alicia Kestner rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns as the Bengals routed the Trailblazers.

Brianna Hernandez-Silva rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown and threw for 93 yards and a score for Bonanza.

Shayne Dunn added a touchdown run, and Ty Baskerville caught a touchdown pass for Bonanza, which also got a touchdown on an interception return by Sierra Hoban.

Coronado 26, Tech 6 — At Coronado, Heaven Lucero threw two touchdown passes to Jodi Allen as the Cougars routed the Roadrunners.

Alexandrea Hondo also had a rushing touchdown for Coronado.

Canyon Springs 19, Basic 13 — At Basic, Adrianna Caldwell-Williams threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score as the Pioneers held off the Wolves.

Caldwell-Williams threw scoring passes of 7 and 10 yards to Destini Cooper, who finished with four catches for 50 yards.

Alyviah Brouchet rushed for 86 yards on 12 carries for Canyon Springs.

Rancho 24, Liberty 6 — At Liberty, the Rams downed the Patriots.

Pualani Tuika caught two passes for 80 yards, including a 50-yard touchdown catch and run, and had two interceptions for Liberty.

Palo Verde 38, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, the Panthers blanked the Diamondbacks.

Arbor View 27, Moapa Valley 20 — At Arbor View, the Aggies built a 19-6 halftime lead and held off the Pirates.
