FLAG FOOTBALL: Tolle sends Mustangs past Panthers

Victoria Tolle hit Katie Williams with a 16-yard touchdown pass in overtime Friday to lift Shadow Ridge’s flag football team to a 20-14 win over visiting Palo Verde.

Tolle completed 7 of 19 passes for 100 yards and two TDs.

Canyon Springs 12, Desert Pines 6 — At Desert Pines, Tea Rivera’s 40-yard touchdown run in the second half lifted the Pioneers by the Jaguars.

Francis Jackson rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries for Desert Pines.

Moapa Valley 34, Durango 6 — At Overton, Alexia Schraft ran for two touchdowns and caught a scoring pass to lead the Pirates by the Trailblazers.

Brighton Crawford also had two touchdowns for Moapa Valley.

Danielle Melton’s touchdown accounted for Durango’s scoring.

Legacy 32, Sierra Vista 6 — At Sierra Vista, Akia Williams rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown to lead the Longhorns by the Mountain Lions.

Avi’Ana Shelton rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown for Legacy.

Cheyenne 18, Spring Valley 6 — At Cheyenne, the Desert Shields downed the Grizzlies.
