FLAG FOOTBALL: White, Longhorns blank host Mustangs

Nicole White threw two touchdown passes Friday to help Legacy’s flag football team to a 33-0 win at Shadow Ridge.

White completed 10 of 15 passes for 196 yards, including touchdown passes to Akia Williams and Tierra Watson.

Avi’Ana Shelton and Aujaneh Jackson each ran for a score for the Longhorns.

Spring Valley 26, Moapa Valley 25 — At Overton, Amberlynn Twigg threw two TD passes and rushed for two scores as the Grizzlies held off the Pirates.

Twigg completed 15 of 28 passes for 242 yards, and rushed for 65 yards on 10 carries.

Jozee DuCunzo had 10 carries for 81 yards and caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown for the Grizzlies.

Hattileigh Gordon threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score for Moapa Valley. Heilish Gordon caught two TD passes, and Alexia Schraft hauled in the other scoring pass for the Pirates.

Moapa Valley scored late and had a chance to tie, but couldn’t convert the extra point.

Del Sol 25, Desert Pines 19 — At Desert Pines, Lauren Cranor threw four touchdown passes to lead the Dragons by the Jaguars.

Cheyanne Santos hauled in three of the TD passes for Del Sol.

Palo Verde 27, Sierra Vista 19 — At Sierra Vista, the Panthers topped the Mountain Lions.

Calista Reyes ran for two touchdowns, and Kalei Watkins threw a touchdown pass to Vladana Lazic for Sierra Vista.

Cheyenne 45, Durango 14 — At Cheyenne, the Desert Shields routed the Trailblazers.

Valley 18, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, the Vikings blanked the Patriots.
