FLAG FOOTBALL: Williams scores three TDs as Dragons top Tech

Kalijah Williams rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries Tuesday to help Del Sol's flag football team to a 19-12 win at Tech.

Williams scored on runs of 21, 60 and 10 yards for the Dragons, and teammate Tarika Poullard rushed for 50 yards on seven carries.

Katy Orellana ran for a touchdown and threw a TD pass to Rebecca Rivera-Pelayo for the Roadrunners.

Basic 26, Durango 6 — At Durango, Alexandria Kelly tossed two touchdown passes and ran for a score as the Wolves defeated the Traiblazers.

Britney Green added a touchdown run for Basic, which led 20-0 at halftime. Arlene Acosta and Monique Silva each hauled in one of Kelly's TD passes.

Claudina Luna caught a TD pass from Alexis Villenueva for Durango.

Boulder City 40, Moapa Valley 14 — At Overton, Jeanne Carmell tossed two touchdown passes and ran for three TDs as the Eagles downed the Pirates.

Carmell completed 20 of 29 passes for 254 yards, including scoring strikes to Kenadee Bailey and Paige Buettner. She also rushed for 54 yards and three TDs on seven carries.

Buettner added a TD run for Boulder City.

Hattileigh Gordon tossed two touchdown passes to Alexis Schraft for Moapa Valley.

Chaparral 26, Sunrise Mountain 18 — At Sunrise Mountain, Neshaune Franklin ran for 187 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries to lead the Cowboys by the Miners.

Krystal Gomez tossed a touchdown pass to Rosa Larin for Chaparral, which led only 14-12 at the half.

Paola Juarez-Avila had three TD runs for Sunrise Mountain.

Virgin Valley 41, Desert Pines 15 — At Desert Pines, Dylan Bryant caught six passes for 134 yards and three touchdowns as the Bulldogs topped the Jaguars.

Elizabeth DeLeon rushed for 128 yards and two TDs on nine carries for Virgin Valley.

Meleane Ngaue tossed two touchdown passes, and Tanaiya Hinton rushed for 109 yards on 11 carries for Desert Pines. Reina Trujillo added 102 rushing yards on seven carries for the Jaguars.

Shadow Ridge 12, Bonanza 6 — At Shadow Ridge, Danika Shupe ran for 85 yards and a touchdown, and Victoria Tolle threw for 121 yards to help the Mustangs get past the Bengals.

Shayne Dunn caught a 10-yard TD pass from Brittney Calhoun for Bonanza, and teammate Desiree Cruz rushed for 123 yards on 26 carries.
