Roundup: Anahi Rosales contributes on both sides of ball in Mojave’s win

Anahi Rosales had two touchdown catches and intercepted a pass Monday to lead Mojave’s flag football team to a 13-7 road win over Rancho.

Rosales had TD catches of 20 and 15 yards, both from Sophie Burton, in the first half for the Rattlers.

Marshae Aikens-Butler also intercepted a pass for Mojave.

Green Valley 26, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Isabel Madrid caught two touchdown passes and had three interceptions as the Gators defeated the Desert Shields.

Green Valley’s Jennifer Haberstock completed 15 of 24 passes for 173 yards and four touchdowns. Christina Mayberry and Brooke Hijar each had a touchdown reception for the Gators.

Anna Marie Arce led Green Valley with 10 tackles, and teammate Lisette Sigala had an interception.

Foothill 27, Shadow Ridge 12 — At Shadow Ridge, Madisyn McArthur completed 16 of 25 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns in her first game back from injury as the Falcons defeated the Mustangs.

Foothill’s Ronni Gibbs completed 4 of 5 passes for 53 yards and one touchdown. Sydney Babakitis, Whitley Brow, and Julia Lynch each had one touchdown reception.

Chloe Collins rushed for 49 rushing and a touchdown on six carries with and also led the team with seven tackles on defense.

Amanda Carducci and Brow each had an interception.

Legacy 20, Canyon Springs 12 — At Canyon Springs, Allanah Subira caught a pair of touchdown passes to help the Longhorns knock off the Pioneers.

Jalyn Joule threw both touchdowns for Legacy, and Isabella Jimenez ran in a score.

Boulder City 26, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Boulder City, Malia Davis intercepted three passes to lead the Eagles over the Miners.

Nikki Meleo had two rushing touchdowns for the Eagles, who led 20-0 at the half.

Nicole Valle added a touchdown pass for Boulder City.

Arbor View 32, Valley 13 — At Valley, the Aggies scored all 32 points in the second half as they came back to defeat the Vikings.

Arbor View’s Britnee Kublick completed 9 of 19 passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Kublick also had a rushing touchdown.

Hailey Neimann had one touchdown reception, Makayla Rucks had a touchdown reception and a rushing touchdown, and Jasmine Gordon rushed for 55 yards and a score for the Aggies, who trailed 7-0 at the half.

Las Vegas 39, Basic 6 — At Las Vegas High, Kaitlyn Horstdaniel completed 10 of 11 passes for 162 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to a victory over the Wolves.

Las Vegas’ Natalie Gennuso and Angelina Visitacion each had two touchdown receptions, and Morgan Adamson had a touchdown catch. Skyla Faught led the defense with two interceptions, and Jessica Garay and Esmeralda Perez each had one interception for Las Vegas.

Coronado 46, Tech 0 — At Tech, Caitlin Shannon threw five touchdown passes as the Cougars rolled past the Roadrunners.

Shannon completed 19 of 25 passes for 255 yards. Reagan Raimer had seven catches for 110 yards and four TDs, and Jensen Bomnan caught four passes for 67 yards and a score for Coronado.

Marissa Pollak had 10 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown for the Cougars, who picked off four passes.

Rhedisa Sua had nine tackles and three sacks for Tech.

Palo Verde 34, Desert Oasis 18 — At Desert Oasis, the Panthers defeated the Diamondbacks.

Georgia Sykes rushed for 195 yards on 11 carries for Desert Oasis.

Chaparral 20, Western 18 — At Western, the Cowboys held off the Warriors.

Chaparral led 13-0 at the half.

Shydae Elam rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries for Western.
