Roundup: Ashley Lewis catches game’s only score to lift Basic in 2OT

Ashley Lewis hauled in a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Marissa Owens in the second overtime to give Basic’s flag football team a 6-0 home win over Legacy on Wednesday.
Owens completed 8 of 20 passes for 90 yards.
Dre’Yahna Carter had nine tackles for the Wolves, and teammate Gabriella Stump added eight tackles.
Shadow Ridge 26, Legacy 24 — At Shadow Ridge, Jordan Ford had 18 carries for 210 yards and four touchdowns as the Mustangs edged the Longhorns on extra-point conversions.
Shadow Ridge’s Dayvian Diaz had eight tackles, including one with 50 seconds left to stop Legacy’s potential game-tying conversion attempt.
Sonia Triana and Janae Marzan each had an interception for the Mustangs.
Palo Verde 6, Centennial 0 — At Centennial, the Panthers tossed a 12-yard touchdown pass in triple overtime to edge the Bulldogs in a Northwest League game.
Desert Pines 18, Sunrise Mountain 13 — At Sunrise Mountain, Nevaeh Wilkins-Johnson had 14 carries for 217 yards and three touchdowns as the Jaguars rallied from a 6-0 halftime deficit to down the Miners.
Coronado 40, Silverado 6 — At Coronado, Erin Shannon ran for a touchdown and caught a touchdown to help the Cougars beat the Skyhawks.
Shannon had a 61-yard touchdown run and caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Caitlin Shannon.
Caitlin Shannon completed 9 of 11 passes for 87 yards and two scores.
Taylur Burton added 13 carries for 61 yards and two touchdowns, and Jensen Boman caught four passes for 78 yards and a touchdown for Coronado.
Cimarron-Memorial 50, Arbor View 16 — At Cimarron, Tiarra Del Rosario completed 16 of 22 passes for 235 yards and four touchdowns to help the Spartans top the Aggies.
Samantha Silva had six catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns, and Genesis Nickerson and Tesha Houpe each caught a touchdown pass for Cimarron.
Catherine Javan had 14 carries for 72 yards and a touchdown, and Nickerson added a rushing touchdown.
Mya Bethea had a sack and returned an interception for a touchdown.
Mojave 27, Western 7 — At Western, Shydae Elam rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Warriors’ loss to the Rattlers.
Cheyenne 31, Las Vegas 0 — At Cheyenne, the Desert Shields grabbed a 25-0 halftime lead en route to the easy victory over the Wildcats.
