Roundup: Del Sol squeaks by Silverado

Tarika Poullard scored on a 12-yard reverse in overtime for Del Sol’s flag football team Wednesday, and supplied the game-winning extra point to lift the Dragons over host Silverado, 31-30.

Running back Angel Hodges had 14 rushes for 115 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown run, and added a 5-yard touchdown catch for the Dragons.

Stephanie Tewart tallied two TD passes, including a 21-yard touchdown pass to Janeth Varela, for the Dragons.

Boulder City 20, Legacy 18 — At Legacy, Nikki Meleo returned an interception 55 yards for a score and led the Eagles with 11 tackles as they edged the Longhorns.

Boulder City’s Ryann Reese rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

Allanah Subira supplied a 60-yard touchdown catch, and teammate Esther Sanchez had 14 carries for 118 yards for Legacy.

Chaparral 20, Liberty 12 — At Chaparral, Naja Muhammad had 22 rushes for 150 yards and three touchdowns to rally the Cowboys over the Patriots.

Pretty Seui had nine tackles for the Cowboys, who trailed 12-6 at halftime.

Moapa Valley 26, Spring Valley 14 — At Spring Valley, Alexis Peay completed 18 of 24 passes for two touchdowns, and supplied a 2-yard touchdown run to power the Pirates past the Grizzlies.

Alexis Schraft had a 20-yard touchdown catch, and teammate Jessica Leon added a 9-yard scoring grab for Moapa Valley. Maxime van der Laan supplied an 8-yard touchdown rush for the Pirates.

Spring Valley’s Shemair Collins had a touchdown run, and Nina Duran caught a touchdown pass from Rayahni Peters for the Grizzlies.

Rancho 25, Cheyenne 7 — At Rancho, Jackelin Canizales tossed three touchdown passes to help lift the Rams over the Desert Shields.

Hailey Nevil supplied two 7-yard touchdown catches for Rancho, which got a touchdown reception from Melissa Ramirez. Donnacia McCullough had nine carries for 121 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown run for the Rams.

Zulma Flores-Vazquez had 12 tackles, and teammate Dre’ana Marshall added eight tackles and two sacks for Rancho.

Green Valley 27, Tech 0 — At Tech, Jennifer Haberstock was 18-for-24 for 189 yards and two touchdowns, as the Gators blanked the Roadrunners.

Christina Mayberry had touchdown catches of 5 and 37 yards for Green Valley, which led 27-0 at halftime.

Theresa Caruso supplied 57 yards rushing, including a 17-yard touchdown run for the Gators, who got a one-yard touchdown carry from Carolynn Fedarko.

Gabrielle DeGuzman contributed 13 tackles on defense for Tech.

Foothill 19, Sierra Vista 6 — At Foothill, Whitley Brow had two touchdown receptions and two interceptions as the Falcons took down the Mountain Lions.

Madisyn McArthur threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns for the Falcons, and Julia Lynch had a touchdown catch.

Coronado 46, Las Vegas 28 — At Las Vegas High, Caitlin Shannon threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns, and rushed for two more as the Cougars took care of the Wildcats.

Taylor Burton rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown for the Cougars, and Jensen Boman caught eight passes for 111 yards and two scores.

Kaitlyn Horstdaniel threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns for the Wildcats, with 121 yards and two touchdowns going to Natalie Gennuso.
