Roundup: Las Vegas stops extra-point try as time expires to claim victory

Las Vegas High’s flag football team stopped Rancho’s extra-point attempt with no time left as the Wildcats held on for a 42-41 home victory over the Rams on Wednesday.
Rancho scored as time expired to pull within a point, but its 1-point attempt was stopped short.
Kaitlyn Horstdaniel threw for 297 yards with two touchdowns, and Alexia Osborn ran in two scores for Las Vegas.
Robyn Galvez had seven tackles and returned an interception 59 yards for a touchdown, and Brinkley McCoy ran for 92 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries for the Wildcats.
Natalie Gennuso added eight catches for 129 yards and a score for Las Vegas.
Desert Oasis 20, Bonanza 19 — At Bonanza, Makayla Rickard completed 15 of 27 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns as the Diamondbacks rallied to beat the Bengals.
Rickard also rushed for 65 yards on six carries.
Ruby Martinez had six catches for 98 yards and two TDs, and Kennedy Callaman caught an 18-yard TD pass for Desert Oasis.
Callaman also had an interception, and Canei Cunningham had seven catches for 80 yards and intercepted a pass for the Diamondbacks.
Destiny Bradford had 18 tackles for Bonanza, which led 19-12 at the half.
Cindylou Rasiang threw three touchdown passes for the Bengals.
Clark 38, Spring Valley 7 — At Spring Valley, Jania Quinones rushed for two touchdowns to lead the Chargers over the Grizzlies.
Jagayra Gomes threw three TD passes for Clark. Jaeda Centeno rushed for a touchdown and caught a TD pass for Clark.
Teegan Teel caught a 55-yard scoring pass from Rayahni Peters for Spring Valley.
Del Sol 13, Boulder City 0 — At Boulder City, Leila Canete supplied a rushing touchdown and two interceptions on defense, as the Dragons defeated the Eagles.
Tarika Poullard provided a 40-yard interception return for a score for Del Sol.
Hannah Barth led Boulder City’s defense with 10 tackles.
Virgin Valley 38, Moapa Valley 24 — At Overton, Katie Zuniga rushed for 109 yards and four touchdowns on 17 carries to lead the Bulldogs over the Pirates.
Macee Bundy added four carries for 71 yards and a TD for Virgin Valley, which intercepted three passes.
Sierra Vista 27, Durango 20 — At Durango, Jazmyn Martinez passed for two touchdowns and rushed for two more as the Mountain Lions defeated the Trailblazers.
Jamie Kalaau-Sunia and Elisa Gow each caught a touchdown pass for Sierra Vista.
Durango’s Marina Bacon passed for 246 yards and three TDs.
Tech 19, Chaparral 18 — At Chaparral, Taylor Ritayik passed for two touchdowns and had 83 rushing yards as the Roadrunners held off the Cowboys.
Maria Galindo caught four passes for 46 yards and two TDs, and Analysa Zepeda had a touchdown run for Tech, which led 12-6 at the half.
Adrianna Carrillo intercepted two passes for the Roadrunners.
Naja Muhammad had 13 carries for 140 yards and two touchdowns for Chaparral.
