Roundup: Tech defense stifles Boulder City

Rhedisa Sua had three sacks, and Adriana Carrillo had two interceptions to help Tech’s flag football team rally to beat visiting Boulder City, 12-6.

Taylor Ritayik threw for 103 yards and two touchdowns for the Roadrunners, who scored all their points in the final five minutes.

Maria Galindo and Gabrielle DeGuzman each caught a touchdown pass for Tech.

Bonanza 33, Clark 18 — At Clark, Cindylou Rasiang threw four touchdown passes and ran for a score to lead the Bengals over the Chargers.

Alicia Kestner caught two touchdown passes for Bonanza, and Alexis Marquez caught one.

Destiny Bradford had two interceptions for the Bengals.

Clark’s Jagayra Gomes passed for 147 yards and two touchdowns and a added a rushing touchdown.

Desert Oasis 33, Durango 13 — At Desert Oasis, Makayla Rickard threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 74 yards and three touchdowns to lift the Diamondbacks over the Trailblazers.

Canei Cunningham and Ruby Martinez each caught a touchdown pass for Desert Oasis, and teammate Georgia Sykes caught six passes for 140 yards.

Cunningham also had 11 tackles.

Jaden Brown and Marina Bacon each had a rushing TD for Durango.

Eldorado 34, Canyon Springs 28 — At Eldorado, Mohn’Ai Roberson rushed for 227 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Sundevils over the Pioneers.

Roberson also had an interception, and Devyn Swain had a rushing touchdown for the Pioneers.

Del Sol 19, Moapa Valley 6 — At Del Sol, the Dragons scored 19 unanswered points in the second half to take down the Pirates.

Cora Butorac, Saleena Quichocho, Leila Canete, and Janeth Varela each had an interception for the Dragons.

Butorac and Quichocho each caught a touchdown pass from Stephanie Tewart, who also had one rushing touchdown.

Virgin Valley 49, Chaparral 20 — At Mesquite, Katie Zuniga rushed for four touchdowns to power the Bulldogs over the Cowboys.

Madison Cheney caught two touchdown pass for the Bulldogs, and Kallie Graves threw for 252 yards.

Nataly Serna-Ramirez had nine tackles for the Bulldogs.

Las Vegas 56, Valley 6 — At Valley, Kaitlyn Horstdaniel completed 11 of 16 passes for 286 yards and five touchdowns as the Wildcats rolled past the Vikings.

Brinkley McCoy rushed for 127 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries for the Wildcats, and Natalie Gennuso had six receptions for 159 yards and had three touchdowns.

Las Vegas’ Nathaly Berganza and Morgan Adamson each had one touchdown reception, and Skyla Faught returned an interception for a touchdown for the Wildcats.

Sierra Vista 33, Spring Valley 6 — At Sierra Vista, the Mountain Lions beat the Grizzlies.
