Baseball

Garrett Giles, Basic

The senior was 12-for-20 with two doubles and 11 RBIs in six games to lead the Wolves to the championship of the Blazer Spring Bash. He was 3-for-4 with two RBIs in a 7-4 win over Cimarron-Memorial in the title game.

Shea Clements, Shadow Ridge

The junior batted .800 (16-for-20) in six games in the Spring Jamboree with 12 runs, 10 RBIs and six extra-base hits. She helped the Mustangs finish seventh in the tournament, best among local teams.

Boys Track

Corey Moore, Liberty

The junior dominated the Spring Break Invitational with victories in the discus and shot put. He threw the disc 183 feet, 1 inch, and beat the second-place finisher by more than 30 feet, and won the shot with a throw of 53-6.

Girls Track

Teleda Williams, Rancho

The senior won the 100-meter dash at the Spring Break Invitational in 12.23 seconds, and beat the second-place finisher by more than three-tenths of a second.

Boys Volleyball

Sam Durkin, Centennial

The senior had a total of 202 assists and 19 aces in 10 matches to lead the Bulldogs to a second-place finish in the Las Vegas Easter Invitational.
