The sophomore center had 17 points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots as the top-ranked Gaels earned a 61-55 road win over second-ranked Clark.

Teionni McDaniel, Cheyenne

The sophomore scored led the Desert Shields in scoring in all three games last week, and had 21 points and seven rebounds at Legacy.

Jordan Ford, Shadow Ridge

The senior running back rushed for 249 yards on 37 carries in a 12-9 home win over Palo Verde. Ford now has 3,422 rushing yards, topping the previous state record of 3,104.

Antonio Saldate, Las Vegas

The senior claimed his fourth Sunrise Region title Saturday with a 19-4 technical fall victory over Green Valley’s David Kalayanaprapruit for the 126-pound title.
