The senior posted the top local time at the Las Vegas Invitational at Sunset Park, covering the three-mile course in 15 minutes, 29 seconds to place second in the small-school boys race.

Emilia Puskas, Bishop Gorman
The freshman won the large-school girls race at the Las Vegas Invitational, finishing in 17 minutes, 28 seconds for three miles.

The freshman safety had six tackles and returned an interception 70 yards for a touchdown in a 28-7 win over Alta (Utah) at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Lani Potter, Boulder City
The senior shot 2-over 74 to claim medalist honors in a Class 3A Sunrise League match at Falcon Ridge on Thursday. Potter won the match by six strokes and led the Eagles to the team title.
