Bryce Odegard, Parhump Valley
The junior won the Class 3A state individual title, covering the 3.1-mile course at Craig Ranch Park in 15 minutes, 56 seconds.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY
Emma Wahlenmaier, Palo Verde
The senior was the top local finisher in the Class 4A state meet at Craig Ranch Park, finishing fifth with a time of 18 minutes, 40.7 seconds for 3.1 miles.

K.C. Moore, Spring Valley
The senior quarterback passed for 254 yards and three touchdowns and also kicked the winning field goal in a 34-31 double-overtime victory over Durango that helped the Grizzlies secure a playoff berth.

BOYS SOCCER
Juan Arredondo-Alvarez, Western
The junior midfielder scored on a penalty kick in overtime to give the Warriors a 2-1 win over Chaparral in the Class 3A Southern Region title game. Arredondo-Alvarez also scored in the team’s 2-1 overtime win over Tech in the quarterfinals.

Jadyn Nogues, Palo Verde
The senior midfielder scored two goals, including one in overtime, as the Panthers upset Arbor View 3-2 to claim the Class 4A Sunset Region title. Nogues had six goals and three assists in three tournament games.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
Tommi Stockham, Bishop Gorman
The freshman outside hitter had 18 kills to lead the Gaels to an 18-25, 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 17-15 victory over Shadow Ridge for the Class 4A Sunset Region championship. Stockham had 11 kills in a semifinal win over Palo Verde, and 19 kills in a quarterfinal victory over Centennial.
