Nevadapreps.com has started posting preseason capsule information for fall sports teams.

Questionnaires were distributed to fall sports coaches, and capsules are posted on the site as those questionnaires are returned.

To view preseason capsules, please select the appropriate sport from the black navigation bar at the top of the home page, and from that sport menu, select News. Specific teams can be located by selecting the correct sport and school from the “Find a School, Sport or Team” menus on the right side of the home page.

Schedules are available for all teams. Rosters also are being posted as they are received.

The Coronado girls volleyball team swept Bishop Gorman to win the Class 5A Southern Region final Saturday at Palo Verde. Both teams advance to the state tournament.

Coronado, Palo Verde celebrate 5A golf, tennis titles

Coronado set a state record with its score of 11-under at the Class 5A girls golf state championship. In tennis, Palo Verde swept the boys and girls 5A championships.
