Gaels hold Pahrump Valley to 48 yards, cruise to victory

Bishop Gorman senior running back Kawika Antolin ran for touchdowns of 70 and 39 yards on his only touches, and the No. 2 Gaels (9-1, 6-0 Southwest) coasted past visiting Pahrump Valley (1-8, 0-6), 55-0, on Friday.

Gorman took a 35-0 halftime lead, holding Pahrump Valley to 48 yards.

Matt Malone rushed for 88 yards on eight carries, including a 48-yard touchdown. Freshman Shaquille Powell, in his first varsity game, ran for 65 yards on five carries, including a 40-yard TD.

Pahrump Valley was led by senior fullback Ande Floyd with 51 yards on 14 carries.
