Ground game helps Muckers win fourth straight

Tonopah's Scott Thibodeaux rushed for three touchdowns Friday and the Muckers (4-2) racked up 337 yards on the ground to defeat visiting Laughlin (4-2), 55-12 for their fourth consecutive win.

Thibodeaux rushed for 164 yards on 12 carries, and scored on runs of 1, 6, and 55 yards. Mike Dolfin added 81 rushing yards and two TDs. Denver Otteson rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown and also kicked a 34-yard field goal. The Muckers didn't complete a pass.

Dolfin led the defense with 15 tackles; Otteson had 10 tackles, a sack and two fumble recoveries.

Laughlin’s Richard Camargo had a 10-yard TD run, and Allen Layno had a caught a 19-yard TD pass from Corey Cook.
