The senior pitcher fired a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts in a 5-1 home victory over then No. 2 Bishop Gorman. Brocoff also went 3-for-4 with a solo home run.

Breanna Alvarez, Liberty
The senior went 7-for-13 with four doubles and five RBIs in three games and was 2-0 as a pitcher for the Patriots, including a five-hit shutout against Las Vegas.

Tyler Buchanan, Cheyenne
The senior outside hitter had a total of 40 kills, 11 aces and four blocks to lead the Desert Shields to wins over Del Sol, Western and Chaparral.

The sophomore shot a final-round 66 to earn medalist honors and lead the Cougars to the team title at the Southern Nevada Invitational.

Jamal Britt, Legacy
The senior broke the Richard Lewis Invitational record for the 110-meter hurdles and 300 hurdles with times of 14.24 seconds, and 37.51, respectively. He also won the long jump with a distance of 23 feet.

The senior earned the Skyhawk Invitational’s female athlete of the meet with a win in the 800-meter run in 2 minutes, 10.09 seconds, and second-place finishes in the 400 dash and 1,600 run.

Tyler Peterson, Centennial
The junior helped the Bulldogs sweep every event in their meet against Durango as they cruised to 210-19 victory. Peterson won the 100-yard freestyle (52.41 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1:03.02).

Madelaine Lauger, Palo Verde
The sophomore finished first in the 100-yard freestyle (56.96 seconds) and 50 freestyle (26.36), leading the Panthers to a 211-83 win over Arbor View.

Arbor View — Baseball player Talon LeBaron went 9-for-11 with five doubles, 11 RBIs and eight runs in a three-game sweep over Legacy.
Bonanza — Girls track athlete Zowie Manuma won the shot put at a home weekday meet with a distance of 40 feet, six inches, which is the second best all time for the Bengals.
Centennial — Boys track runner Savon Scarver won the male athlete of the meet award at the Skyhawk Invitational with wins in the 300-meter hurdles (37.89 seconds), the 110 hurdles (14.97) and the 200 (21.56). Girls track runner Julianne Manning placed third in the pole vault at the Mt. SAC Relays with an effort of 10 feet, 6 inches to become the school record holder
Faith Lutheran — Boys golfer Charlie Magruder shot rounds of 76 and 71 to finish third at the Southern Nevada Invitational. Girls track runner Xori Green placed second in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, and was on the 1,600 relay team that finished second at the Richard Lewis Invitational.
Mojave — Boys track runner Noah Thompson won the 200-meter dash at the Richard Lewis Invitational with a time of 22.12 seconds and was third in the 100.
Pahrump Valley — Boys golfer Koby Lindberg shot a season-best 84 in the second day of the Southern Nevada Invitational. Softball player Taylor Egan tossed a three-hitter in a 22-4 win over Desert Pines.
Sierra Vista — Boys golfer Harrison Stanley shot a personal-best 79 at Spanish Trails in a Southwest League match. Softball player Kalei Watkins batted .727 with a home run in a three-game sweep of Spring Valley. She also threw a four-inning perfect game.
