ARBOR VIEW — Girls golfer Betsy Branton finished first in a Northwest League match at Painted Desrt with a 17-over-par 89. Branton has taken medalist honors in all three Northwest matches. Boys cross country runner Cole Jones placed second at the UNLV Invitational, finishing the 3.1-mile race in 16 minutes, 13.61 seconds.
CANYON SPRINGS — Girls cross country runner Brooklyn Allison placed first in a meet against Silverado, running 21 minutes, 57 seconds for 2.9 miles.
CENTENNIAL — Girls soccer player Shelby Riddle converted a penalty kick against Cimarron-Memorial.
CHAPARRAL — Boys soccer defender Jose Morales had a goal and an assist in a 2-0 victory over Virgin Valley.
CHEYENNE — Football player Deonte Perkins had a 23-yard touchdown catch and a 10-yard TD run in a 62-12 win over Western.
DESERT OASIS — Girls cross country runner Alexandra Myers placed 16th at the Lancer Classic in Riverside, Calif., with a time of 20 minutes, 36 seconds for 3.1 miles. Boys soccer player Zachary Wood had a goal and drew a foul that earned a penalty kick that led to another score in a 3-0 win over Spring Valley.
DURANGO — Leticia Salazar-Sandoval placed second in a meet with Spring Valley, running 22 minutes, 24 seconds for 3.1 miles. Boys cross country runner Marlon Medina finished first in a meet with Spring Valley, finishing in 17:00.
FAITH LUTHERAN — Girls soccer forward Dani Tharaldson had a total of three goals and five assists in wins over Mojave, Cheyenne and Tech. Football player Vinnie DeGeorge had four catches for 182 yards, and added 86 yards on kickoff returns and three tackles on defense in a 32-25 win over Mojave.
FOOTHILL — Football player David Persi had four catches for 100 yards and three TDs in a 57-44 win over Sierra Vista.
GREEN VALLEY — Boys tennis player John John helped the Gators to wins over Silverado and Las Vegas, going undefeated for the week while participating in both singles and doubles.
THE MEADOWS — Football player Bryson Navallo rushed for 124 yards and three touchdowns against Mountain View. Girls volleyball player Dani Otter had a total of 22 digs, 11 kills, five blocks and three aces in two wins over Mountain View.
MOUNTAIN VIEW — Football quarterback Ian Locke rushed for 144 yards and three TDs on nine carries in a 27-21 win over The Meadows. Girls golfer Rachel Horita shot 96 to win a Division III Southern League match at White Pine.
PALO VERDE — Football player Jaren Campbell rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown, and had 13 tackles in a 21-6 win over Silverado. Girls golfer Morgan Zimmerman was third at a Northwest League Match with a 20-over-par 92 at Painted Desert.
RANCHO — Girls cross country runner Aryn Maxwell placed 25th at the UNLV invitational, finishing the 3.1-mile race in 21 minutes, 43.6 seconds.
SIERRA VISTA — Football player Andrew Peterson rushed for 112 yards on seven carries against Foothill. Girls volleyball outside hitter Bridgette Levi had eight kills, six digs and two aces in a 3-0 win over Legacy.
SILVERADO — Girls soccer player Danielle Parven had three goals in a win over Basic, and four goals in a victory over Rancho.
