ARBOR VIEW — Boys basketball player Trent Hunt led the Aggies in points, field goals, rebounds and assists during a six-game Christmas Break stretch. Girls basketball player Janae Strode had eight points, 13 rebounds and five steals in a double-overtime loss against Denver East (Colo.) in the Lady Wolves Holiday Tournament.

BONANZA — Flag football player Bree Hernandez-Silva ran for 151 yards and three touchdowns, passed for 62 yards and had two tackles and an interception in a 25-0 win over Clark.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Wrestler Jesse Saavedra placed third at 126 pounds in the Mile High Challenge in Prescott, Ariz. Girls basketball player Ashli Tyus averaged 18.5 points, seven assists and four steals and made eight 3-pointers in four games at the Gator Winter Classic.

CORONADO — Girls basketball player Sam Green had 83 points and 45 rebounds in six Cougar wins in the Gator Winter Classic.

DESERT OASIS — Boys bowler Matt Dobbs rolled games of 247 and 246 in a 659 series to help the Diamondbacks to a 7-2 win over Shadow Ridge. Flag football player Kylee Bauer completed 18 of 31 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score in a 20-8 win over Arbor View.

GREEN VALLEY — Wrestler Sean Cannon placed second at 132 pounds in the Cheesehead Invitational in Kaukauna, Wis. Girls basketball player Ellee Barton averaged 11 points and four rebounds in four games of the Gator Winter Classic.

LEGACY — Girls basketball player Avionna Clark went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line in overtime and finished with 19 points, four rebounds and three steals in a 63-55 win over Palo Verde.

THE MEADOWS — Girls basketball player Delaney Gosse had 13 points, seven rebounds, nine steals and five blocks in a 48-32 win over Calvary Chapel.

SHADOW RIDGE — Wrestler A.J. Thai-Bautista placed third in the 106-pound class in the Sierra Nevada Classic in Reno and fourth in the Tournament of Champions California meet.

SIERRA VISTA — Boys basketball player Randall Grimes was named to the all-tournament team and helped the Mountain Lions to a 4-0 record in the Maxpreps Holiday Classic. Girls basketball player Iymoni Burrell had 20 points, five assists and five rebounds in a 53-39 win over Bolsa Grande (Calif.).

WESTERN — Girls basketball player Topaz Beard was 8-for-12 from the field and had 18 points and five rebounds in a 61-50 win over Bonanza.

The Coronado girls volleyball team swept Bishop Gorman to win the Class 5A Southern Region final Saturday at Palo Verde. Both teams advance to the state tournament.
