ARBOR VIEW — Girls cross country runner Madison Fletcher finished fifth in the large-school race at the Las Vegas Invitational, covering the 3.1-mile course in 20 minutes, 37.7 seconds. Boys cross country runner Tim Myers was 29th in the large-school race at the Las Vegas Invitational with a time of 18:26.3.

BASIC — Girls volleyball player Kim Austin had eight kills in a 3-0 victory over Silverado. Football player Aeneus McAllister passed for three touchdowns and ran for another in a 49-0 victory over Valley.

CANYON SPRINGS — Girls soccer player Monica Camargo had two goals in the Mesquite Cup tournament. Boys soccer player Gaspar Gonzalez scored six goals to help the Pioneers win the Mesquite Cup tournament.

CENTENNIAL — Football player Brandan Harley had a 68-yard TD run, finishing with 90 yards on four carries and adding four catches for 52 yards in a 24-17 overtime win over Foothill. Girls volleyball player Devin Vieira had five kills and three blocks in a 3-0 win over Legacy.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Girls tennis player Justine Felix went 7-2 in singles in three matches.

DESERT OASIS — Boys soccer player Ivan Biorato scored both goals in a 2-0 win over Del Sol. The Dragons had beaten the Diamondbacks in the previous six meetings. Girls soccer player Miah Strellnauer had two goals and an assist in an 8-0 win over Del Sol and had the winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Liberty.

FAITH LUTHERAN — Football player Nick Wendel had two interceptions in a 40-6 victory over Virgin Valley.

GREEN VALLEY — Girls volleyball player Rachel Klopfer had 13 kills, 13 digs and three aces against Sierra Vista. Football player Albert Lake rushed for 190 yards and two TDs against Charter Oak (Calif.).

LIBERTY — Football player Ethan Dedeaux had six catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns and returned a punt 48 yards for another score in a 58-26 victory over Shadow Ridge.

THE MEADOWS — Girls volleyball player Dani Otter averaged 3.1 kills and 1.5 digs per set in eight matches at the Yerington Invitational.

PALO VERDE — Football player Ty Fuller rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown and caught a 22-yard TD pass with 25 seconds left that gave the Panthers a 25-20 win over Green Valley. Girls volleyball player Kendall Cheval had 16 kills and four digs in a 3-0 victory over Centennial.

SILVERADO — Girls volleyball player Victoria Bravo had a total of six goals and an assist in three matches.

Coronado girls down Gorman for 5A volleyball region title

The Coronado girls volleyball team swept Bishop Gorman to win the Class 5A Southern Region final Saturday at Palo Verde. Both teams advance to the state tournament.
