The senior won the Division I-A state meet by 36 seconds with a time of 16 minutes, 46 seconds for 3.1 miles at Rancho San Rafael Park in Reno.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

The junior won the Division I state cross country title, covering the 3.1-mile course at Reno's Rancho San Rafael Park in 19 minutes, 39 seconds. She also led the Bulldogs to the team title.

The senior forward had five goals and five assists in the Division I-A Southern Region tournament, including a goal and two assists in a 3-2 win over Tech in the championship game.

The sophomore outside hitter had 17 kills in a 25-23, 25-19, 27-25 win over Bishop Gorman in the Sunset Region title match.

The senior outside hitter had a total of 27 kills, four aces and 18 digs in three matches to lead the Crusaders to their fourth consecutive Division I-A Southern Region championship.

ARBOR VIEW — Girls soccer player Deja Erickson had a total of three goals and an assist in three games to lead the Aggies to the Sunset Region title. Football player Curtis Jones had 18 carries for 157 yards and three TDs in a 35-0 win over Shadow Ridge.
CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Boys soccer player Ernan Hernandez scored twice in a 4-0 victory over Legacy in the Sunset Region title game.
CORONADO — Girls volleyball player Emily Bender had 11 kills in a 25-9, 25-11, 25-11 victory over Foothill in the Sunrise Region championship match.
DESERT OASIS — Running back Ty'shun McClinton rushed for 103 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Diamondbacks past Palo Verde, 34-12, for the school's first playoff win.
GREEN VALLEY — Boys soccer player Ricardo Nunez scored two goals in a 2-0 victory over Coronado in the Sunrise Region championship game.
SIERRA VISTA — Girls volleyball player Bridgette Levi had 15 kills and nine digs in a 22-25, 28-26, 25-18, 25-15 victory over Virgin Valley in the Southern Region semifinals to clinch a berth in the Division I-A state tournament
