The junior guard was the Most Valuable Player at the Bulldog Invitational. Cannon had 19 points in a 77-65 win over Bonanza in the championship game. He also had 22 points and nine rebounds in a victory over Enterprise (Utah), and 10 assists in a win over Shadow Ridge.

The senior guard scored 11 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter in a 67-63 victory over Foothill. Burton added 16 points and 10 assists in a 66-54 victory over Palo Verde, and had 12 points and four assists in a 54-51 win over Clark.

The freshman guard had 28 points to lead the Bulldogs to a 59-53 victory over Liberty. Etheridge also scored 15 in a 68-49 victory over Canyon Springs and 18 in a 69-42 win over Durango.

The senior quarterback completed 41 of 58 passes for 518 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 362 yards and five scores to lead the Spartans to wins over Clark, Western and Bonanza.

BONANZA — Boys basketball player DaVonta Price averaged 18 points, nine rebounds and four steals at the Bulldog Invitational. Flag football player Jessica Williams had eight tackles against Centennial.
CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Wrestler Jonathan Ruggeroli went 6-0 at 170 pounds at the Mustang Stampede.
CORONADO — Boys bowler Sergio Torres averaged 205 in six games to lead the Cougars to wins over Eldorado and Rancho. Girls basketball player Samantha Green had a total of 20 points and 11 rebounds in two games.
DESERT OASIS — Girls basketball player Taryn Lampkin scored 17 points in a 65-56 overtime win over Rancho.
THE MEADOWS — Girls basketball player Delaney Gosse had a total of 23 points, eight rebounds, 12 steals, three blocked shots and five assists in two games.
MOUNTAIN VIEW — Boys basketball player Tevin Gray had 28 points in a 71-60 overtime victory over Lincoln County. Girls basketball player Rose Adkins averaged 11.3 points in four games.
PALO VERDE — Boys basketball player Grant Dressler averaged 17.5 points and 8 rebounds in two games. Girls basketball player Paulina Silcox averaged 17 points, 4.5 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals in two games.
SIERRA VISTA — Girls bowler Leeann Reyes improved her average to 168.5. Wrestler Noah Slabaugh improved to 2-0 in league duals with two pins.
