BONANZA — Wrestler Tyler Weinand placed second at the Pine View Invitational in St. George, Utah.
CENTENNIAL — Girls basketball player Samantha Thomas hit a 3-pointer with eight seconds to play to give the Bulldogs a 68-65 win over St. Mary’s (California). Boys basketball player Troy Brown had 20 of his 32 points in the second half in a 75-61 road win over Durango.
CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Boys basketball player Kamakana Winquist had 16 points and 13 rebounds and hit the go-ahead jumper with 25 seconds remaining in a 64-63 win over Shadow Ridge.
DESERT OASIS — Girls basketball player Sierra Mich’l had 18 points and 14 rebounds in a 57-52 victory over Spring Valley that gave the Diamondbacks control of second place in the Southwest League.
LAKE MEAD — Girls basketball player Josey White hit four 3-pointers and scored 22 points in a 53-28 win over The Meadows.
LEGACY — Girls bowler Alexi Gamon averaged 174 in a victory over Shadow Ridge.
PAHRUMP VALLEY — Girls basketball player Bethany Calvert had a total of 24 points, eight rebounds, nine steals and seven assists in three games.
SIERRA VISTA — Boys bowler Eli Hall rolled a 218 game in a 9-0 win over Bonanza.
