The senior placed first at the Larry Burgess-Las Vegas Invitational at Sunset Park, covering the 3.1-mile course in 15 minutes, 23.4 seconds. Rogers led the Gators to the team title, edging second-place Cedar (Utah), 53-64.

The junior receiver had six catches for 178 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-24 victory over Valley. McCarter had a 45-yard touchdown pass from Joey Fox in the first quarter, and caught an 8-yard scoring strike from Fox with 7:54 to playto push the lead to 33-16.

The senior running back had 15 carries for 311 yards and five touchdowns and added a TD reception in a 54-28 win over Round Mountain.

The senior scored all three goals, including the game-winner with a minute to play, in a 3-2 win over Arbor View in the championship game of the Las Vegas Kick-Off at Faith Lutheran. It was a rematch of last year's state title game, which Arbor View won, 6-0.

ARBOR VIEW — Boys soccer player Dalton Rice scored seven goals in his last four games. Girls soccer goalkeeper Haylee Neimann posted four shutouts in five games.
CANYON SPRINGS — Girls soccer player Leticia Godoy-Pacheco had two goals and an assist in a 4-3 win over Durango, and scored an unassisted goal in a 1-0 win over Basic.
CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Girls cross country runner Marieta Wright placed fifth out of 107 runners at the Larry Burgess-Las Vegas Invitational with a time of 19 minutes, 8.6 seconds for 3.1 miles. Boys soccer player Dresden Quackenbush had a total of two goals and an assist in two games.
CORONADO — Girls golfer Ashley Lung shot par 72 at Black Mountain to help the Cougars to a Southeast League win.
DESERT OASIS — Girls soccer player Cecily DeMille had a total of four goals in wins over Del Sol and Legacy. Boys tennis player Caiden Jacob was 3-0 in singles in a 16-2 victory over Bonanza.
DURANGO — Girls cross country runner Leticia Salazar-Sandoval finished 14th at the Larry Burgess-Las Vegas Invitational with a time of 19 minutes, 47.2 seconds.
FAITH LUTHERAN — Girls volleyball setter Megan Kronschnabel had 29 assists, three aces and three kills in a 3-0 win over Sierra Vista. She served 14 straight points to win the deciding set.
FOOTHILL — Boys tennis players Billy Crawford and Tristin Hansel teamed to go 8-0 in doubles for the week, leading the Falcons to three wins, including a 10-8 victory over 10-time defending Sunrise Region champion Coronado.
GREEN VALLEY — Boys soccer player Maliq Cooper had a total of three goals and 11 assists in five games, helping the Gators capture the Show Low (Ariz.) Invitational title. Girls tennis player Megan Madrid was 3-0 in singles in a 12-6 victory over Coronado.
LEGACY — Boys soccer player Matthew Beasley had two goals and two assists against Desert Oasis. Girls volleyball player Saipeti Fuiava had 13 kills, three digs and three aces in a 3-1 victory over Basic. She had four kills late in the fourth set to help clinch the win.
MOJAVE — Girls soccer goalkeeper Kylie Sharbono faced a total of 29 shots on goal and made 17 saves against Legacy and Canyon Springs. Football player Taiwan Braden had four catches for 140 yards, intercepted a pass and had six tackles in a 40-6 victory over Pahrump Valley.
MOUNTAIN VIEW — Football player Adam Stacy had 17 tackles, including seven solo, in a 20-0 win over Lake Mead.
PALO VERDE — Football kicker Aaron Mack nailed a 47-yard field goal with no time on the clock to force overtime against Centennial. Mack also was 3-for-3 on extra points. Centennial won, 31-24. Girls soccer player Macee Barlow had at least one goal in all four of her team's games in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.
SHADOW RIDGE — Girls golfer Kelsey Barnson shot a personal best 86 in a Southwest League match at Badlands.
SIERRA VISTA — Girls soccer player Calista Reyes had a total of three goals and four assists in wins over Clark and Western. She had two goals and an assist as the Mountain Lions edged Western, 3-2. Boys soccer player Kebba Jobe had two goals in a 4-2 victory over Clark.
