AGASSI PREP — Football player Kobe Williams scored three touchdowns in a 25-8 win over Lincoln county. Girls volleyball player Mariah Graves finished the week with eight aces, seven assists, 30 digs, eight kills and three blocks.

ARBOR VIEW — Boys soccer goalkeeper Nathan Bohn had six saves in a 2-0 loss to Centennial. Girls tennis player Elen Safarian went 3-0 against Legacy.

CENTENNIAL — Boys tennis players Parker McDonough and Ricky Koplow teamed to go 2-0 in doubles in a 13-5 win over Desert Oasis.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Girls golfer Aspen Bryant shot 4-over-par 76 at Aliante to place first in a Southwest League match. Boys soccer midfielder Scotty Robles had two goals in a 3-0 win over Western.

DESERT OASIS — Girls golfer Allson Weiderman shot 8-over-par 80 in a Southwest League match at Aliante, leading the Diamondbacks to a second-place finish. Boys tennis player Bryce Tacker went 6-0 in singles in matches with Durango and Faith Lutheran.

ELDORADO — Girls soccer goalkeeper Hannah Pewtress had four saves and earned a shutout in a 14-0 win over Sunrise Mountain.

FAITH LUTHERAN — Football player Keenan Smith rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns and returned a blocked field goal 90 yards for a score in a 31-6 win over Sunrise Mountain. Girls soccer defender Kendall Pori helped the team allow just one goal in wins over Shadow Ridge and Las Vegas.

FOOTHILL — Girls volleyball player Christina Beaver made the all-tournament team at the Las Vegas Invitational, helping the Falcons place 10th.

LEGACY — Girls volleyball player Ashly Goor had six kills, seven digs and four aces against Silverado.

THE MEADOWS — Girls cross country runner Bailey Gosse won the small school race at the Las Vegas Invitational, and placed fifth overall out of 152 runners with a time of 20 minutes, 53 seconds for 3.1 miles.

MOJAVE — Football player Elijah Smoot had touchdowns on both sides of the ball, returning a fubmle 63 yards for a score, and adding a 38-yard TD run.

PAHRUMP VALLEY — Boys soccer player Adrian Maldonaldo had a goal and an assist in a 5-5 tie with Boulder City.

PALO VERDE — Girls tennis player Annie Walker won both her sets 6-0 in a 16-2 victory over Centennial. Boys tennis player Justin Kuykendall won both of his doubles sets 6-1 in a 15-3 victory over Centennial.

SHADOW RIDGE — Football player Dustin Puia was 3-for-3 for 71 yards and two touchdowns passing, and had three rushes for 47 yards and a TD in a 47-2 win over Rancho.

SIERRA VISTA — Girls volleyball outside hitter Bailey Bergquist has a total of 64 kills, 15 digs and seven aces this season. Boys soccer player Giovanni Amaya had two goals on penalty kicks and added an assist in a 5-1 win over Basic.

SILVERADO — Girls cross country runner Rachel Katz was the school's top finisher at the Las Vegas Invitational, placing 67th.

Coronado girls down Gorman for 5A volleyball region title

The Coronado girls volleyball team swept Bishop Gorman to win the Class 5A Southern Region final Saturday at Palo Verde. Both teams advance to the state tournament.
