ARBOR VIEW — Girls basketball player Ariona Gill averaged 13 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots in two games. Boys basketball player Jesse Vogel had 12 points, four rebounds and seven assists in a 50-45 win over Desert Oasis.

BONANZA — Flag football player Bree Hernandez-Silva threw for two touchdowns and rushed for one score against Cimarron-Memorial. Boys basketball player Jamal Logan averaged 18 points to lead the Bengals to three wins.

CENTENNIAL — Wrestler Earl Teopaco had a pin to help the Bulldogs beat Arbor View 40-24 to secure the Northwest League title. Flag football player Kiana Sai threw four touchdown passes in a 41-7 win over Bonanza.

CIMARRON-MEMORIAL — Flag football player Rosie Del Rosario passed for 80 yards and a touchdown, rushed for 117 yards and two scores and caught eight passes for 94 yards and three TDs in wins over Clark and Western. Del Rosario also had a total of seven tackles and three interceptions. Wrestler Jesse Saavedra went 5-1 to place second at 126 pounds at the Pine View (Utah) Invitational.

CORONADO — Boys bowler Trevor Hochman had a 694 series, including a 278 game, in a 9-0 victory over Foothill. Girls bowler Keola Hanashiro-Meesiri rolled a 257 game as part of a 658 series against Foothill.

DESERT OASIS — Freshman wrestler Daniel Costa placed third at 106 pounds at the San Clemente (Calif.) Rotary Classic. Girls basketball player Mikala Kirby had 25 points in a 66-36 win over Palo Verde.

FAITH LUTHERAN — Girls basketball player Kim Munro scored six points in the first quarter to help spark the Crusaders to a 65-23 win over Pahrump Valley.

GREEN VALLEY — Girls basketball player Brooke Haney hit five 3-pointers and scored 20 points in a 69-32 win over Basic.

THE MEADOWS — Girls basketball player Cassidy Gosse had 10 points, 13 rebounds and 10 steals in a 55-36 win over Laughlin. She added 12 points, eight rebounds and three steals against Needles.

MOUNTAIN VIEW — Boys basketball player Connor LeBoeuf had 24 points, seven rebounds and five assists against Agassi Prep.

PALO VERDE — Wrestler Cole Judd pinned his opponent in 50 seconds in a win over Durango and placed fourth at 220 pounds at the Top of the Rockies Tournament in Denver. Girls basketball player Marcie Goldberg had 11 points and 10 rebounds in a 55-41 win over Shadow Ridge.

ROUND MOUNTAIN — Girls basketball player Alyssa Hanks had 38 points in a 58-26 win over Adelson School.

SIERRA VISTA — Boys bowler Jopfel Gafate finished the regular season with a 184 average. Girls basketball player Kayla Barnum had 11 points and six rebounds against Mojave.

Coronado girls down Gorman for 5A volleyball region title

The Coronado girls volleyball team swept Bishop Gorman to win the Class 5A Southern Region final Saturday at Palo Verde. Both teams advance to the state tournament.
