Coach: Sope Faga (15th year)

2007 record: 7-3 (5-1 Southern League)

Returning starters: Six offense, five defense

Returning letterwinners: 13

Top players: RB/ILB/K Derek Oliver (Sr.), OL/DL Roger Atchley (Sr.)

Top newcomers: QB Adam Reinke (So.)

Key losses: OL/DL Matt Stark, TE/DE Forrest Kelly, QB Trent Sargent

Base offensive set: Pro set

Base defensive set: 4-3

Outlook: The Thunderbirds should have excellent play along the line of scrimmage, which will be key as Reinke begins his first year as a starter.

“He throws a good, tight spiral and knows the (pro set) offense,” Faga said of Reinke. “We expect some good things out of him.”

Faga said Indian Springs has had one of its “better camps in years,” and it should be in the mix to contend for a Class 1A state title.
