Poulsen, Pahranagat Valley top Knights to win 1A Southern League

Taylor Poulsen threw for 138 yards and a score on Thursday as Pahranagat Valley (9-0, 6-0) defeated host Round Mountain 59-0 to win the Class 1A Southern League regular season title.

The Panthers outgained Round Mountain, 525 yards to 50 and racked up 359 yards on the ground.

Jensen Jones had 60 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Panthers. Brady Whipple had three catches for 63 yards and a score.

Round Mountain finished the regular season 5-4, 4-2.
