Coach: Josh Jones (10th year)

2007 record: 9-6-4 (5-5-4 Southeast League)

Returning starters: Seven

Top players: GK Edgar Velasquez (Sr.), D Tino Carranza (Jr.), D Oscar Gonzalez (Jr.), MF/D Kevin Jimenez (Jr.), F Esteban Corona (Jr.), D/MF Jose Guiza (Sr.), MF/F Santiago Corona (Sr.)

Outlook: The Roadrunners were on the outside looking in when it came to last year's postseason, missing the playoffs by three points. With nine returning lettermen, including seven starters, they're hoping to be a part of this year's playoffs.

Corona had 12 goals and five assists last season and should be among the team's leaders on an offense that could feature as many as five sophomores.

Also back is senior goalkeeper Edgar Velasquez, who registered four shutouts last season.

Junior center backs Tino Carranza and Oscar Gonzalez return to spark the defense.
