Wooten, Virgil lead Arbor View in rout of Mojave

Arbor View scored 55 points in the first half and finished with 497 total yards, all on the ground, to beat host Mojave 62-12 on Friday night.

The rushing assault was led by Taylor Wooten and DeMario Virgil, each of whom scored twices and rushed for 159 and 156 yards, respectively. 

Arbor View (4-0, 1-0 Northwest) blocked three punts in the first half and returned two fumbles for touchdowns by Alex Morre and Gabe Toney.

Mike Montgomery rushed for 109 yards on 24 carries, completed two passes for 63 yards and returned a kickoff 90 yards for a second-quarter touchdown for Mojave (0-3, 0-1).
