BASEBALL: Chase Adams, Diamondbacks rout Sierra Vista

Chase Adams was 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and four RBIs Saturday to lead host Desert Oasis’ baseball team to a five-inning 11-0 win over Sierra Vista.
Nolan Kingham was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and three RBIs, and Chris Van Kuren went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and two RBIs for Desert Oasis. Bryson Stott was 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI for the Diamondbacks.
Dylan White was 2-for-2 for the Mountain Lions.
Centennial 10, Durango 0 — At Centennial, Travis Stevens tossed a five-inning three-hitter and struck out three as the Bulldogs blanked the Trailblazers.
Kyle Horton was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, and Stevens and Jake Portaro each went 2-for-3 for Centennial. Jared Drizin was 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and an RBI for the Bulldogs.
Duke Pahukoa went 2-for-2 for Durango.
Legacy 20, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Legacy, Hayden LeCates was 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and three RBIs, and the Longhorns took advantage of 18 walks in a five-inning rout of the Miners.
Nick DeLuca was 1-for-3 with a home run, three runs and four RBIs, and winning pitcher Jordan Brown went 2-for-2 with a double, four runs and an RBI for Legacy, which scored 12 runs on four hits in the fourth inning.
Angel Chavez was 2-for-2 for Sunrise Mountain.
