BASEBALL: Harris, Rattlers down Trojans in 10 innings

Liam Harris’ two-run single to right-center with two outs in the top of the 10th inning Tuesday broke a 7-7 tie and lifted Mojave’s baseball team to a 10-7 win at Pahrump Valley.

Otto Hernandez and Elijah Glaze both singled to start the rally and scored on Harris’ hit. Harris, who later scored on an error, was 4-for-6 with two RBIs.

Glaze was 2-for-6 with three RBIs, and Scotty Wilson and Ryan Lawrence each went 3-for-6 for the Rattlers.

Dylan Ault was 2-for-5 with two RBIs for the Trojans.

Foothill 8, Rancho 5 — At Foothill, Shay Landers’ three-run triple with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning sparked a five-run rally as the Falcons downed the Rams.

Foothill trailed 5-3 entering the bottom of the sixth before loading the bases on a single by Trenton Price, a walk to Ricky Kinney and a one-out single by Anthony Pannullo.

Landers followed with a triple to left-center to give the Falcons the lead. He finished 2-for-4. Kaeili Maruyama was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Foothill.

Zach Barnhart went 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBIs, and Robert Spinelli was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Rancho.

Green Valley 7, Coronado 2 — At Green Valley, Jarrett Perns went 4-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI to lead the Gators by the Cougars.

Blake Inouye tossed a six-hitter and struck out seven for Green Valley.

Nate Ruiz was 1-for-2 with an RBI for Coronado.

Sierra Vista 8, Clark 1 — At Sierra Vista, Chandler Smith went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, two runs and two RBIs to lead the Mountain Lions by the Chargers.

Dylan White was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Sierra Vista.

Ryan Ebel went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Clark.

Arbor View 13, Centennial 4 — At Centennial, Ryan McHale cracked a three-run double, and Wyatte Velasco went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs as the Aggies topped the Bulldogs.

Winning pitcher Sam Pastrone had a double, an RBI and scored twice, and Jayce Gardner was 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and three runs for Arbor View. R.J. Rodriguez was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Nick Quintana homered for the Aggies.

Jake Portaro hit a home run, and Jake Rogers had a three-run double for Centennial.

Basic 12, Eldorado 2 — At Basic, Tanner Roundy and Dylan Ferguson each went 2-for-4, and the Wolves used a six-run fifth inning to top the Sundevils in six innings.

Trever Berg and Ethen Ryan combined on a four-hitter for Basic.

Joseph Torres had a two-run home run for Eldorado.

Cimarron-Memorial 13, Bonanza 3 — At Cimarron, Trent Bixby was 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs and two RBIs, and Noah Given was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs as the Spartans topped the Bengals in five innings.

Tyler Giovinco was 2-for-2 with a double and three runs, and Niko Decolati added a solo home run for Cimarron.

Chris Dunn was 2-for-3 with a run for Bonanza.

Faith Lutheran 16, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, the Crusaders pounded out 13 extra-base hits in a six-inning rout of the Desert Shields.

Joshua Harmonay went 4-for-5 with four doubles, four runs and three RBIs, and Cruz Daddario had two doubles, a triple, four runs and three RBIs for Faith Lutheran.

Zach Trageton hit a home run, and Brandon Davis went 3-for-5 with two doubles, four RBIs and two runs for Faith Lutheran. Peter Corcoran added two doubles for the Crusaders.

David Rose hit a home run for Cheyenne.

Pahranagat Valley 12, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Christian Higbee went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and an RBI as the Panthers rolled by the Miners in five innings.

Jordan Cryts was 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs, and Paden Higbee went 1-for-2 with a double and three RBIs for Pahranagat Valley.

Paden Higbee and Wade Leavitt combined on a two-hitter for the Panthers.

The Meadows 19-18, Lake Mead 15-1 — At The Meadows, Alex Agrawal was 4-for-4 with a double, four runs and six RBIs in the opener and 3-for-4 with a double, four runs and two RBIs in the five-inning nightcap as the Mustangs swept the Eagles.

Agrawal and Nabeel Afzal combined on a one-hitter in the second game. Jacob Gleason was 4-for-5 with four RBIs, and Adam Martinez was 4-for-5 with four runs and an RBI in the second game for The Meadows.

In the opener, Andrew Martinez was 3-for-5 with six runs and two RBIs for the Mustangs. Jacob Gleason and Afzal each went 3-for-5 for The Meadows.

Hunter Harris was 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs in the first game for Lake Mead.

Mountain View 14-16, Calvary Chapel 4-0 — At Mountain View, Josh Stanton was 6-for-7 in the doubleheader and tossed a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts in the nightcap as the Saints swept a pair of five-inning games from the Lions.

In the opener, Stanton was 4-for-4 with a triple, a double and an RBI. Chase Ottofy doubled twice and drove in four runs, and Ian Locke was 3-for-3 with four runs for Mountain View.

Ottofy was 3-for-3 with two doubles, and Braeden Carmack had two hits, two runs and two RBIs for the Saints in the second game.

Christian O’Kelley had two hits and two runs in the opener, and Alec Neider had two hits in the nightcap for Calvary Chapel.

Spring Valley 7, Western 0 — At Western, the Grizzlies won by forfeit.

Laughlin 18, Mohave Accelerated (Ariz.) 3 — At Laughlin, the Cougars rolled by the Patriots in five innings.
